Here are some shots of the Mark III and its turret near the end of its construction. You may notice a distinct lack of plasticard on the model, thats partly due to the fact its quite dificult to get here and expensive when you do, and partly due to the fact that why use plasticard when you can use regular card (in this instance from a box of chicken steaks), create curved surfaces and cut it with scissors and then apply copious amounts of superglue to make it rock hard.

Yugioh Oppression GameMat
Sometimes people will ask you to do something and you will go "errr, right" because either its come out of left felid or you initially don't think its possible, still you never say no because if theres one thing i have learnt is that nothings impossible and its usually the things you least expect to that turn out the best. Its the colours I like most about this one they are so vibrant but somehow blue mountains make perfect sense, although if I could adjust it a bit I would darken certain areas.
Black Adder IG Comisar Conversion
A simple conversion of an Imperial Guard comisar into Captain Black Adder came about mainly due to a joke. Still I found the idea amusing enough to actually make the model and this is what I ended up with, he comes complete with pencils up his nose pants on this head and a trusty stick because obviously you wouldn't want to go over the top straight towards machine guns without one.
I also replaced the front half of his gun with something more old fashioned in this case the front half of one of the scouts guns from space crusade. Needless to say the pencils were a right pain to to position.
Hopefully at some point I will get the chance to convert up the rest of the BlackAdder crew.

Gamemat Alien
The person who asked for this design wanted something with the alien creatures from Yugioh, in fact the design process involved him laying the cards on the blank mat where he wanted them to be which isn't really a process I've used since but still think is probably a good way for people who don't really know much about design to explain what they after.
Team MFM are a crew of CCG/TCG/Gamers players from the south west of the UK whose base of operations is the shop Mad For Miniatures. Having something that identifies them when they go away to be tournaments is always popular.
MTG Alters Ninja Crows
Ok so squadron hawk isn't in standard right now but I figured if Bad Bird was going to be any card he would appreciated being the one that dominated a format plus they get to carry swords which solves the age old question about how the squadron hawk normally manages that feat. The playset also loosely plays out into a bigger image (although naturally not in the right order here - no one said ninja crows were organised!). Like the cats, the birds backgrounds feature metallic paint, in this case in the form of the trees and their leaves. For a more standard set of villains continue reading.

MTG Samurai Pizza Cats Alters
With the release of the dark ascension MTG set came a pair of cat type monsters one of those being sanctuary cat, ever since every time i saw one i couldn't help thinking of the cartoon Samurai Pizza Cats. More importantly the theme tune got stuck in my head in an attempt to extract it there was only one thing to do, depict our feline heros on cardboard!
The most challenging thing about Speedy was painting white, in the end I settled on a warm brown shading rather than trying to maintain a typical cartoon cel shaded look as I wanted something a little less harsh edged
